What To Expect

What to expect with Air Fresh Chem-Dry:

Pre-visit: There is very little you need to do to prepare for our arrival. We just ask that you remove any fragile or valuable items from the rooms being cleaned. Since we move the tables for you, just clear the table tops, so the table can be moved with ease. We will handle moving of light furniture (such as sofas, loveseats, chairs and tables) the day we arrive. Upon scheduling, we ask for your email address, if you wish to provide it, you will receive a welcome email along with a confirmation email for your appointment.3

During the visit:

Once we arrive, we will:

  • Conduct a pre-inspection walk through of the rooms and/or items to be cleaned, noting any heavily soiled areas, traffic patterns or stains.
  • Answer questions you have and discuss the Chem-Dry cleaning process with you.
  • Pre-vacuum the carpet and or other items that are being cleaned.
  • Carefully move furniture in the rooms (except very large items, such as pianos, china cabinets, entertainment armories, 2 man furniture or glass items, etc.).
  • Clean the entire area using our exclusive Chem-Dry Natural cleaning solutions.
  • Rake most carpet for grooming and to beautify the appearance.
  • Return your furniture to its original location, placing protective pads underneath.

Once all rooms/upholstery have been serviced, we will complete a final inspection with you to ensure that you are 100% satisfied.

Post visit:

While our powerful, truck-mounted vacuum system removes almost all of the moisture immediately, your carpet or upholstery may still be damp to the touch.

  • Using fans in any rooms cleaned and opening doors and windows on can help accelerate drying time.
  • Be sure to leave the protective pads under furniture legs and any paper used with upholstered items in place until the carpet and/or furniture is completely dry to avoid any color transfer.
  • You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning with clean socks or bare feet. Be especially careful when walking from damp, carpeted areas onto non-carpeted areas to avoid slipping.
  • For any reason, if you are not completely satisfied with the work performed, simply notify us, as we have a 30 day guarantee on all work performed. That means, if any spots return we will come back once within 30 days to re-clean the area at no cost to you.
  • You will receive a follow up email to make sure you are happy with the service, if you have provided your email address at the time of scheduling.
