What To Expect

What to expect with Air Fresh Chem-Dry:

Pre-visit: There is very little you need to do to prepare for the arrival of our professional Air Fresh Chem-Dry technicians. We just ask that you remove any valuable or fragile items from the rooms being cleaned. Since we conveniently move the tables for you, we ask that you clear the table tops, so the table can be moved with ease. We will handle moving all light furniture (such as your sofas, love seats, chairs and tables) the day we arrive. Upon scheduling your cleaning appointment with Air Fresh Chem-Dry, we will ask you for your email address. If you wish to provide it, you will receive a welcome email along with an additional confirmation email for your professional cleaning appointment.

During the visit: 

Once we arrive, we will:

  • Conduct a thorough pre-inspection walk through of the rooms and/or items to be cleaned, noting any stains, heavily soiled areas and noticeable traffic patterns.
  • Answer any questions you have and discuss the exclusive Chem-Dry cleaning process with you.
  • Carefully move furniture in the rooms (except very large items, such as pianos, china cabinets, entertainment armories, 2 man furniture or glass items, etc.).
  • Pre-vacuum the carpet and any other items that are being cleaned.
  • Clean the entire area using our one-of-a-kind Chem-Dry Natural cleaning solutions.
  • Rake most carpet for grooming and to beautify the appearance.
  • Return your furniture to its original location, placing protective pads underneath.

Once all rooms and/or upholstery have been serviced, we will complete a final inspection with you to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the results.

Post visit:

While our powerful, truck-mounted vacuum system removes almost all of the moisture immediately, your carpet or upholstery may still be damp to the touch for a few hours. Be sure to keep the following tips in mind:

  • Using fans in the rooms that were cleaned and opening doors and windows on can help accelerate the drying time.
  • Be sure to leave the protective pads underneath the furniture legs and any paper used with upholstered items in place until the carpet and/or furniture is completely dry to avoid any color transfer.
  • You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning with clean socks or bare feet. Be especially careful when walking from damp, carpeted areas onto non-carpeted areas to avoid slipping and falling.
  • For any reason, if you are not completely satisfied with the work performed, simply notify us, as we have a 30 day guarantee on all cleaning services performed. That means, if any spots return we will come back once within 30 days to re-clean the area at no additional cost to you.
  • If you provided your email address at the time of scheduling, you will receive a follow up email to make sure you are pleased with the cleaning services provided to you.
